Many Uses For Cast Iron Cookware

On the box it came in, Woods recommends using this pot/deep skillet for stews and sauces. I already have dutch ovens I use for those. I bought this pot for popping corn because making popcorn can be hard on ordinary pots and it's hard to hurt cast iron just by cooking in it. This pot could also be used for deep frying. It's great that it comes with a lid. I tried the lid on a 10" fry pan I have and it fits that, too. That's an added plus! Other cast iron manufacturers Canadian Tire deals with don't seem to offer cast iron pots. Thankfully, Woods does.
