Beautiful black and grey skates for women

Skates are beautiful. We bought this for an 11 year old girl as a Christmas charity gift for children called Operation Père Noël. It was what she was asking for so we hope she will like them. The quality of the skates seems very good and the price was right.

Bought these for my Daughter and she loves them. the only suggestion I would have is to remove the toe picks on a recreational skate. I ground them off ofr my daughter.

A: I wear a 9.5 in shoes and purchased size 9 skates. The sizing seems generous and I even have room for 2 pairs of socks :)

Q: I really like the skates and the concept, However, when I tighten the laces and then try to lace the side hooks, the tightener thing lets go, maybe because of the angle between the top of the tightener and the lower hooks? What am I doing wrong?

A: I had the same issue when I used mine. I was planning to replace the laces with traditional hockey skate laces.

Q: I am looking at the Motion Recreational Skate by Vic and the Solaire Recreational Skate. I like the fit of the Motion pair but hesitant on the pull tab. Have you had problems with the tab breaking and if it does can it be repaired? Not alot of skating.

A: The fit of the skate is very comfortable. The issue I had with the skate is that the pic on the front of the blade actually pointed down below the blade. I kept catching on the ice and making me fall.

Q: I bought one size down like suggested and they are too small, way to small. I dont know if a 9 or 10 would be best. VIC doesnt have a size chart for their skates, so there is no way to know.

Q: Bonjour,
Je prends du 37,5 habituellement en taille de chaussures (pointure européenne). Quelle taille de patins devrais-je prendre?
Merci.
Q: If the tightener or the laces loops break, can they be easily repaired? Or are they really robust and won't break?
1 Answer
A: There's always a chance the loops or strap could break if you pull hard or are rough with them. If you're able to sew pieces together, then it could be an easy fix. Otherwise, you would probably need to take them to a shoe/skate repair shop.

Q: Hi, I don't quite understand the laces. The reply is to pull on the tab. Is there a video on youtube to watch? I fit the laces under the tab, it was quite tight, but got them through so that was helpful. So do I pull on the laces? then close tab?
1 Answer
A: Yes exactly you pull the laces to make them tight and then close the tab once you've hit your desired tightness. Unfortunately, there isn't a YouTube video available at this time.

Q: Is the size chart referring to women's shoe size or men's shoe size?
1 Answer
A: It refers to women's shoe size as we generally recommend selecting a skate size about 1.5 sizes smaller than your shoe size.
