Turns a lawn into a deep garden bed

This worked great on land that had never been farmed. Digs deep under it's own weight. Read the instruction manual !! These people who say that is too exhausting are probably not reading the booklet, and using it properly. You have to remove the transport wheels, and adjust the stake part in the back. It takes one minute to set up. Then it is unbeatable for tilling the toughest lot into great fluffy planting soil. 5 seasons I use it every spring. Starts first pull.

Q: Are there other tires that can be used for transporting across rough terrian? Part of my property is sloped and I have to go a across a gravel area to get to the new garden location.

A: The 60-4003 Troybilt Front Tine Tiller is equipped with standard transport wheels. We do not manufacture alternative replacement wheels for this item.

Q: i find most tillers don t have a middle tine to cultivate the centre of row.would like to know how to solve this problem.thanks

A: To achieve soil consistency it is recommended to till over the area twice. On the first pass, set the machine's tines to a shallow depth. Drive the tiller slowly allowing the tines time to break through the soil's crust. Adjust the tiller’s depth stake for a second pass and till in the opposite direction starting half a row offset from the previous row.

A: This tiller has a maximum depth of 6” (15cm). You can see page 3 of the manual (see Manual tab) for instructions on how to adjust the tilling depth.
