I bought mine in store. Compared to a similar product that I have tried this one is comfortable to hold and to grip while you push down. It makes cutting apples so easy, and the swinging base makes it so much better than other models where the slices pop right off immediately once you close it. The ring is a bit small so you may need to cut extra core from some slices, but still so much easier and faster than doing it all by hand.
Make sure not to press down on apples with it shut, keep it open until you want to pop the slices out. I will also say that due to the small size of the center this kind of tool can still be a difficult for shaky hands, as some days my father is less steady and does have trouble getting it centered depending on the apple. We were hoping this would make it easier for him to cut apples so depending on some factors it really helps him or it doesn't. Just something to keep in mind, overall it's still a great tool.

Cores my apple and cuts it into perfect sized wedges! Is lightweight and easy to use and clean. Also like that it has a cover which protects the sharp blades when stored.
