Overall the product/experiance, came across as an early entrant into the home automation game, that was created by a engineering based individual many years ago. It works, but it may be in need of "refreshing" as other entrants into the field have the same or better functions.

Not easily set up

I was not able to link my door to the Skylink app. The instructions don’t indicate what the ‘hub’ is for or what you’re supposed to do with it. Yes, the instructions show a step by step process, but you’re left wondering what it is you’re setting up and why. Some questions I was asking myself: Where are you supposed to put the hub – does it matter? Beside your modem? What are the buttons for? There is mention of a home alarm system – is this hub an alarm system or just something for the garage door? Are you supposed to be able to open your garage door with the app? How? None of this is clear from the instructions, making set up frustrating
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good product but beware....

This is a fun product that we received to open our garage door with an app. It's a fun product and it's nice that we can open it using our cell phones however you MUST be careful. My husband opened it up at work to show someone and opened the door. I was home alone and nearly had a heart attack thinking someone was trying to break in.
