Des rampes légères et solides qui ne prennent que 43" une fois plier. Elle arrive toute monter et il reste juste à l'installer quand on en a besoin! Bon pour gros VTT, etc.

I have had these ramps for a few weeks. I have mixed feelings. I use them exclusively for loading and unloading my mid-size atv on my trailer. The ramps are extremely light and easy to carry around. They store very easily under the atv in the trailer. The fingers on the top end of the ramps have bent on me. I can bend them back, but I’m fearful that this may cause fatigue and they will snap off one day. Also if you aren’t using the ramps on level terrain, they will rock and twist. The hardware that is used to hinge the ramps together is adequate, although it looks cheap. I’m torn on if I would recommend them to a friend.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How long is the ramp when folded and when extended?

A: Folded is 43.5" long with maximum thickness 6". Fully extended is 7' 1" with a 3" arc in the ramp. Fixed width is 12". Side rails are 2". Distance from rung-to-rung is 4". Has "no-slip" horizontal grooves in each rung. Weight of ramp is 14 lbs (very nice aspect...). Load capacity is 500 lbs (one ramp). Made in China... what isn't?!? I loaded up my Vespa GTSie 250 scooter (350 lbs) which has a clearance of 6". The wheelbase is 54". When the ramp is propped up to a height of 26", there is enough clearance when pushing the scooter up the ramp. Don't know how much spare room there might have been...

A: It's not as much the deck height as it is the length of the ramp and height of the vehicle you are loading onto. The fingers of the ramp should be sitting relatively flat on the load vehicles tailgate. 6 foot ramps for lower vehicles(1/4 ton trucks etc.), And longer ramps 7 foot plus for higher vehicles like 4x4s. Common sense is needed as too high a load angle can cause a backward rollover onto the operator.

Q: I heard that riding Lawn mowers get stuck mid way of the deck on the ramp when trying to drive it onto the truck .Any truth to this? Due to not having a gradual slope and short length of ramps.

A: Yes a mower or other mobile vehicles(golf car etc.) with low clearance can hang up! The arch will lift the back wheels up while loading reducing the angle under the vehicle allowing it to load safer and not hang up. Common sense is a must as too high of an incline can cause the loading vehicle to flip backwards onto the operator. 6 ft ramps are good for lower vehicles like 1/4 ton trucks, low trailers etc.Longer ramps work better with todays higher 4x4's to reduce the climb angle.
