This is a great product. I have had no trouble at all since I bought it. I use it at least three times a week and I like that it lights up so you can see it when it’s nighttime

Worked great for a short time

This product worked great for a week, then inexplicably quit. I used it to power a GPS & a dash cam drawing a total of 2.2 amps, 1/2 of its rated power, then on the 4th day of use, plugged it in and got a light for a moment, then dead. I have owned other Scosche products and had confidently destroyed the receipt and packaging, so Canadian Tire can't help me. Liked the product, but don't lose the receipt!

Q: Will the glow light drain the car's battery if left plugged in the lighter socket that remains hot even when the engine is off? Use for Ford Escape 2017.

A: Product glow light is and micro LED type and uses a very minuscule (tiny) amount of power. Vehicles will have to be parked for months and not used for light to drain battery. New cars have smart technology that turns off the lighter sockets if the car is not used for a long time.
