Pirelli Scorpion™ Verde All Season Plus II Tire For Passenger & CUV

I looked into various brands to replace my Dodge Charger 19" AWD tires. From the factory, they came with Hankooks, Michelin Primacy MXV4s or Pirelli Scorpion Verdes. I went with the Verde All Season Plus II. My local Canadian Tire offered a great promotion on them and the price was excellent for a good name tire. After putting on a thousand or so kms, I can say they are very quiet. They handle well in the wet and on rain soaked roads they don't hydroplane as much as my previous worn tires. These are new, so I expect them to do well in reducing hydroplaning. They are Z rated for speed, and seem to have a nice stiff sidewall for those spirited on ramp 'like it's on rails' turns. They didn't chirp either on aggressive turns. I did not notice any sidewall rolling of the tire in those aggressive turns. As for responsiveness, they are ok. They provide adequate road feedback and are not sloppy when on the highway. They track well. They absorb enough road imperfections to keep them comfortable. I believe you trade off comfort and long lasting treads if you want that super sport feeling. I am pleased with the way they look and drive. For the value, they are a good sport touring feeling tire that give good quiet road feel while also giving a nice spirited ride if you push them in the corners.

Smooth and quiet with just the right amount of grip for sporty performance when you want it. Excellent wet grip in heavy rain with lots of water on the highway.

Just had these latest Plus II tires installed and have driven them less than 100km. Impressed so far and hope they'll perform as well as my previous set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season tires, which I was very happy with.
