New version to replace Old version

We replaced an older Panasonic with this one. Very similar in operation and I like the fact that the inside is black instead of white.

Good idea, poor execution

We got this microwave after our Panderno failed. We thought it would be a similar experience with the dial control, it is not. The dial is only to set seconds and minutes, but is not very fast at it (you have to spin it a lot). once started you cannot add more to it. You have to preset power level before you start to enter the timer. The add 30 seconds button is also slow on repeated presses. It does heat food okay, though at lower power levels it cycles long on off cycles instead of an inverter circuit which Panasonic was well known for. All in all it is just okay.
No, I do not recommend this product.
