I have had the exact same rice cooker for almost 8 years now and this thing has never failed me. It has moved through different provinces and territories, gone camping, and has been dropped from the counter, yet this little rice cooker has withstood time and a little bit of abuse. It is perfect for 1-2 people and has remained consistent with it's rice cooking capabilities.
I never put the pot in the dishwasher or use abrasive materials, so this helps keep the coating in decent condition after years of use. I'm Asian so I use this almost everyday.
I see a lot of people complaining about rice getting burned on the bottom, and it does happen depending on the type of rice you use. I find that short grain rice like Jasmine or regular white rice are moist and sticky which will likely burn and stick to the pot. Long grain rice like Basmati doesn't stick and will likely burn less. I hope this rice fact helps.

Burns every time

I hate this rice cooker. The rice is never properly cooked. It sticks to the pot and burns. I had a smaller one that was excellent, but the pot started to show signs of wear on the pot and I had to get a new one. But this one? Don't buy it. You will be as disappointed as my family.
No, I do not recommend this product.
