I purchased this toaster because I had a Black & Decker one that lasted me over 20 years it was well made served me well so I bought another Black & Decker However this one is not made nearly as well as the first one when you pick the two of them up the first one I had is heavier more solid this one is very flimsy and very light weight. You can tell the material is poor quality. it does have the wide slots for the toast although I find the toast still jams when you pop up anything that's wide although not really a big deal. I do like the buttons on it but even the silver part on the toaster you can't even wipe it without it leaving Fingerprints or stains I'm really disappointed as I almost want to keep my old one and I'm debating sending this one back Im definitely disappointed I thought Black & Decker had better quality Than what I'm seeing in this toaster
