Great Tire

Had these on our 07 Dodge Caliber. Head over heals better then the factory Firestones. Worked well for the first 3 winters then just used in the summer. Lasted 6 years then got too much weather cracking, lots of tread left. Pretty good for 6 years . Overall happy, quiet, good handling, looks good and tread life good.

You get what you pay for

I bought the HydroEdge for my 2000 Taurus over 7 years and 100,000 km ago and I am now just about to replace them. They are actually still in good shape but starting to get some minor cracking in the sidewalls. They were not the cheapest, and still aren't, but I will be getting them again. They are excellent in wet conditions and I have been very satisified with the handling in snow despite some other comments to the contrary. Spreading the cost over 7 years, they are great value and I couldn't ask for a much better ride and performance.

The best bang for your buck

Amazing treadwear: 800 UTQG (Uniform Tire Quality Grading - Rating out of 1000, the higher the number the longer the tire will last) That is the MAGIC number when comparing tires. This tire usually goes on sale for $112, and get the mail in rebate for $70. I put just over 100,000 kms on a set and recently purchased another set.

High mileage----high noise

My tires are one year old and show hardly any wear. My gas mileage increased with the new tires. The only thing I do not like is the noise. My Honda Civic is already noisy and the tire noise is just about unbearable. Even though I have probably 80,000 miles of treadwear left I will probably get rid of them for quieter tires. Wish I could trade them back in to Michelin!

Incredible Handling & Comfort

I have a 2010 Nissan Versa Hatchback. At about 5k miles I bought a set of Mags with Michelin Hydroedge tires. I was astonished when the dealer told me of the 90k mileage on these puppies. We drove my car from Salem, Oregon to Jackson Hole, Wyoming & Yellowstone Natl Park. We have NOT had any problems at all with these amazing tires. We get a lot of rain in Oregon. My Michelins handle so gr8 and very safely in the rain it's almost uncanny. My car stops on a dime. I like these tires very much and will very likely replace them with another set just like these. Thank you Michelin !
