The nice little compact (not too small) heater has been a good addition to one of our rooms that stay cooler in the winter. I find it stable, I'm a bit nervous about these things. A great addition for a temporary problem.

The heating numbered system doesn't function as it implies in the instructions. The heating system is numbered H3 (the assumed greatest amount of heat and fan speed), H2 (medium) and H1 (least). The fan speed is basically the same for all three (least). You can feel the fan force at about 15 inches at the most from the unit.
The remote is no longer working.

Decent heating fan

I'm using this as a heater, not as a cooling fan. After the first day of use one thing I'm not liking is the start up of the fan. It instantly revs up to above it's top speed for a couple of seconds every time it starts for some reason. Things are calm one second, the next i'm blasted with this massive gust of freezing cold air directed at me. Not pleasant. If anyone knows how to shut this feature off I'd appreciate a response.
Other than that it seems to do the job ok. I would have liked to have it pump out more heat though. At it' top setting it's not that impressive compared to my previous slightly smaller heating fan that literally doubled the amount of heat this one puts out. The room takes twice as long to heat up now.

Q: The heat setting of H1 H2. H3... do they correspond to fan speed during heating? If so mine only uses one speed. Does not matter which one it is on. And cannot find any info online
