Outbound Canvas Pool Tube Lounger

I bought this for river tubing because it has the fabric cover and indeed it seems very sturdy and puncture resistant. I also like that the center hole isn't actually a hole, it has it's own circular air bladder which adds bouyancy and keeps more of your body out of the water (handy for warming up on long river trips). It also has the usual stuff like a drink holder and handles. The cons are other than those 3 features it has no other bells-and-whistles (like a better valve, cheaper tubes have better), its small and doesn't support your head if you're tallish, despite having a high bouyancy rating (I'm 5'10 and its smaller than I'd like, though it would work in a pinch). The head/backrest is very lacking. Basically you could get a bigger, comfier tube that's easier to inflate and sturdy enough (though I doubt pvc can compete with that fabric) for less. Manufacturer take note; I would gladly had paid more if this tube had the features I wanted (mostly if it was just bigger and comfier). I haven't been able to find a big comfy tube with a nice headrest that also has a sturdy fabric cover, this is the closest I could find but its not quite there. With a few touches this would be the ultimate river tube.
