    Product Details

The MotoMaster Winter Edge Tire is engineered for superior performance in Canadian winters. Its directional tread pattern with integrated Snow Groove technology and densely packed sipes deliver unbeatable grip on snow and ice. The tire’s advanced silica tread compound retains flexibility even in extreme cold for consistent control, while strategic grooves channel water away to resist hydroplaning. Abundant biting edges dig deep into snow and ice when braking and turning. This MotoMaster winter tire optimizes handling, traction, and braking so you can drive with confidence regardless of outdoor conditions.

    Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

    Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

    • The MotoMaster Winter Edge Tire provides great ice and wet grip while remaining flexible in extreme cold conditions

    • Integrated Snowgroove technology improves grip on the snow due to better tread grip on snowy surfaces

    • Densely populated corrugated sipes create thousands of biting edges for grip in wet, snow and icey conditions

    • This tire will help you stop, start and drive with confidence, the directional tread pattern and lateral grooves channel water out of the tread; keeps all its rubber on the road, and you don’t have to worry about hydroplaning

    • The tread compound is formulated with advanced silica and polymers to keep the tread flexible and able to maintain grip even in the extreme cold temperatures of Canada

    • The large number of sipes, or micro-grooves, act as biting edges that dig into the ice and snow no matter if you’re braking for a stop sign or turning around a tight curb

    • The combination of tread compound and sipes provide consistent grip and control that Canadians need and expect from their winter tires

    Disappointing

disappointed when I removed them after the 3rd winter. Tread is holding up great, lots of KM's on them over 3 winters and barely at a couple /32'nds of wear! BUT discovered massive rubber rot and cracking everywhere on the OD of the tire and tread blocks this spring when removing them. I keep them stored well, along with all other summer/winter tires, have used all kinds of brands of tires but this was our first test of MotoMaster. Will avoid this brand regardless of price, and do not recommend.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can these tires be used all year?

    5 Answers
    • A: I used my Hakook winter tires for 8 years, all year long and only had trouble this fall when I ended up with a leak in the sidewall that could not be repaired. Time to buy another pair of winter tires now and I plan to use them in the same way again.

    Q: Can I go to a 16 inch rim for winter summer size are 225/50 R 17

    4 Answers
    • A: I think Wally is not correct. Look at your vehicle's specifications or user's manual, it'll tell you what rim/tire size combination your vehicle can tolerate. Alternately go to the CT service desk and ask them to check (in their computer) if your vehicle year, make, model and trim/engine size can admit 16" rims. Alternatively look in the Tirerack website, when you input your vehicle year, make, model and trim/engine size it'll tell you all different rim sizes if can admit. Wally's suggestion is ...for Wally.

Q: I bought a set of 4 tires in November, they were installed and mounted at tire shop. One of the tire has continuously had a slow leak. What does the manufacturer warranty cover and how do I go about getting a defective tire replaced.

    • A: Hi Tim. I had the same experience with a different set of Motomaster tires and it just turned out to be a slow leak between the rim and tire. A quick tire removal and reinstall addressed the issue. We have two full sets of the Winter Edge tires and they have performed great !!
