A: Hello, GM trucks require a specific fluid as directed by the owner's manual and thus the MotoMaster Gear oil would not be recommended. It would be best to reference the owner's manual and/or contact a GM dealer directly.

Q: Can I use this instead of Quick Silver (Mercury) high performance gear lube in my boat's outdrive low end lube?

These type products typically have higher levels of rust and corrosion inhibitors than automotive gear oils like the MotoMaster Synthetic 75W-90 and are designed for marine environments.

A: Yes, all 4wd TRD Sports have the LSD. On top of that, all DCLB 4wd had the LSD (so SR5 had it too in that configuration). The main takeaways are: 1. You can use normal or synthetic 75-90 in the front diff and transfer case.

A: You want GL-4 oil for copper components. This is not GL-4 oil. It's getting difficult to find but you'll find it.

Q: Need to replace gear oil in my Power Wheelbarrow and it calls for 85 95 gl5 or 6 so can I use this in in its place

A: Hello, A Power Wheelbarrow could use a replacement gear oil that meets GL-5 or GL-6 or a SAE 85W-95. The Motomaster extreme pressure gear oil 75W-90 does fall into this description, however the Motomaster 80W-90 would have closer viscosity numbers to the OEM recommended oil.
