Q: How is the best way to affix the handle to the head?

A: I was told it would eventually secure itself in place but mine did not. There's a small hole in the metal where you can drill a hole through the wood and secure them together with a screw. I suggest drilling a pilot hole first as the wood is very hard and will probably crack without a pilot hole.

I haven't even used it yet, but the build quality is exceptional. There are 2 pictures that goes with this on the website--one of them is right and one is wrong. I got the one with the METAL attachment/connector between the handle and the blade, not the PLASTIC one. Get the metal one.
