First one wouldn’t tighten on one terminal. Not stripped but would jam on the way down. Had to return it and get a second one which installed with no issues. Holding up well to daily use at 40 amps.

This is the right receptacle to use for EV charging over the much cheaper one (white plastic one). Much thicker and won't melt under the heat. Make sure to use proper torque. That part is critical. Doesn't come with a face plate, but requires one with a larger hole. Make sure to select the right face plate for it.
