    Wear fast!

I had these KUMHO Solus KH16 tires come on my new 2015 Journey SXT. Front tires were gone after 40K. Bought an identical set of used KH16s with 75% tread left on them and I am now looking to replace them again at just over 60K. Had alignment checked when used ones were put on and had only a minor adjustment made. Only bad on my part was not rotating as the original rears still have at least 65% tread left. Definitely looking for a different brand.

After only 35000 km tires are done. Poor traction in all condition.

    Poor wear and construction -

The tires were supplied by the manufacturer on a Dodge Journey. The tires are now off the car after 47,000 kms. The first tire failed at 41,000 kms. That tire had a steel belt fail. The issue is not the fault of Canadian tire. The tires also caused a vibration and wobble up through the steering wheel. After the failed tire was replaced the wobble at the steering wheel continued. The dealer mechanic inspected again and stated that the tires had no actual flaw it was just the way they perform. The car was also inspected as it under a full manufacturer warranty so the repair would be no cost. So this is not a case that auto repairs were overlooked. The car also had two wheel alignments. Kumho does not truly stand by their tires as they leave it all to the retailer. First time in my life that tires have all failed at 40-47 k's. Unbelievable. The local shop noted tires are no longer available. I have never had an issue with warranty coverage from tires supplied by Canadian tire. Kudos for CTC corporation. The local shop helped me switch to Michelin.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Tire Construction Integrity Question

These were the tires on a brand new Dodge Journey that I purchased. The vehicle is driven exclusively locally and on the highway. Early driving was quiet and smooth but at 45,000 kms 'droning noise' started, while driving at 90 kms/hr or more. At the dealership they told me the belts in the rear tires had shifted and the tires need to be replaced. And there is no warranty or manufacturer coverage so I have to replace the tires. I will not recommend nor purchase these tires.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Very poor mileage

These tires came on the car, 2013 Dodge Journey Crew. 50,000km and they are 3/32", and I already replaced 2 tires. The tires were rotated every 5000 km by the dealer, and filled with nitrogen. I replaced two tires because rips on the sidewall (under car's warranty, not Kumho's). Decent handling, slips a lot if you step on the gas (6 Cyl, lots of fast torque). Good braking, good on wet roads, very poor on snow, even brand new. Definitely I will not recommend this tire for a vehicle with an average power engine, maybe for small vehicles

No, I do not recommend this product.
