Best purchase in a long time

Living right downtown Vancouver, there is a lot of dust, pollen and particles in the air that I breathe. I also have asthma and many allergies. This product has changed my life, I can now breathe with ease, have backed away from a fair amount of meds for my asthma, my doctor is ecstatic about the change in my living space. I definitely would recommend this to those who may have some of the ailments that I have.

Purchased this filter approximately 1.5 years ago and I must say, the amount of dust particles, dander, pet hair, etc that it has caught, between cleanings, is astonishing. The air emitted feels much cleaner and is perfect for bedrooms, living rooms and pretty much anywhere! Cleaning the filter is pretty basic; just run it under the tap or shower, shake it dry and voila! Would have given it 5-stars if a higher quality filter mesh was used, but it gets the job done!

A: It's rated for 144 square feet. I tried it in an area just under 200 square feet and it wasn't very effective at all
