Siberia

I bought this a few months ago for my wife who suffers terribly from night sweats. I have nicknamed it Siberia, because when it blows it can feel like an Arctic wind. It's not an air conditioner but probably the next best thing. Now, if I can just convince her that it's now winter.....

Moving the fan

Tricky to move around when I can’t hold it by the upper loop. Is it really that damageable? Even if I’m gentle?

My Very Own Hyperloop

I do like how the timer is programmed for shorter increments; as little as 15 minutes, but also 30, 45, & 60 minutes; after that 2, 3, etc. all the way up to 9 hours are available. But, I think it oscillates much too fast. And, I don't even think I want to set it any higher than speed level 5; any higher than that and it's too noisy. At level 6 or higher it would not be suitable for watching TV, reading, or sleeping - it's too loud. It offers a nice, silent or nearly-silent breeze at levels 1 to 5. This is a nice addition to my fan collection; but, if your just starting out I would go with a nice & quiet, premium tower fan. It also looks great and you can see through it.

GOOD AIRFLOW BUT NO OSCILLATION

Bought this fan a few months ago. I love the airflow but the fan does not oscillate which is not great at all!

Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
