The tire’s wide tread width improves braking, while its tiered grooves enable stable cornering and stone ejectors protect the tread from damage. Built for passenger vehicles and CUVs, this winter tire delivers optimized traction and control on snow and ice. The tire’s design even offers a customizable grip that you can use to mount studs and further increase winter traction. With advanced siping and an asymmetric tread pattern, the i*Pike RW11 is engineered for cold-weather driving.

Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Accepts Studs

This tire can have studs installed to provide additional mechanical traction on icy surfaces. Studded tires are prohibited by law in many provinces. Ask at your local Canadian Tire store.

Bought these in 2014 and have used for ten winters. There is still a nice amount of thread left but there is now some uneven thread wear. I can't complain after this many years and I am now going to buy them again. Hopefully my next set and 2015 tundra will be around in 2034 to review again.

the tires i have put on the Tacoma 4x4 crew cab in 2016, have worn well,, very well the and i expect to get another year or two out of them, no road noise, work well on Coquihalla going between Hope and Kelowna, have about 65,000 km's on tires, they even handle the rain with minimal slippag, i do recommend them and the stud holes even look good this many years later.
