These are ok summer locks. I had to cut mine off to open my shed doors. It was frozen solid. The key would turn but the lock while not disengage.

Rusted shut after two months.

False marketing. This lock is “meant” for outdoor use. After two months on an outdoor shed, the internals off the lock as well as the key entry are very rusted. The key barely works ... that is when I can get it closed. This Canadian Tired “branded” Garrison is junk. They put the money into marketing, not product development.

Don't waste your Money - Not great in Winter or Rainy Season

I bought this for the shred where my snowblower is kept. Have to the time it freezes and I can't get my lock open. This locks if suppose to be good for outside use. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Q: where can I get a copy made of the key for a garrison padlock? So far there have not been any blanks that work for copying the padlock key. They all have the indent on the wrong side of the key.

Q: grommets I have one of the Garrison 40mm Laminated Padlock 46-1254-2 and I would like to know where I can get replacement grommets for it. The ones I have are drying up and won't protect the lock much longer. Maybe the manufacturer can send replacements.
