I like the carpet cleaner, but I did not get a fluffy cleaner head with my package to clean my wood floors.
Very disappointed. It is great for vacuuming stairs.

I tried the cheap route first and bought a cheap KMart brand but ended up having to return it! Love, love, love my new Dyson V8 stick vacuum cleaner. Powerful, easy to use and easy to clean. The dog especially loves that it’s not too loud and noisy. The difference between the two was like chalk and cheese. Well done Dyson 👍

The vacuum is light and easy to maneuver, but I find it lacks in power unless it is on high which runs the battery out. Easy to switch out the attachments and empty the cup.

J'utilise l'aspirateur Dyson V8 advanced avec la brosse motorisée standard (Direct Drive) dans mon appartement d’environ 60 m², avec parquet vitrifié et carrelage en grès cérame. L’aspirateur ne raye pas le parquet, aspire parfaitement la poussière et les cheveux, et fonctionne bien sur les tapis. Dans mon cas, le mode Max est inutile : la puissance normale suffit largement.
L’appareil est très maniable et léger. Cela change radicalement de mon ancien aspirateur traîneau. Par conséquent je passe l’aspirateur plus régulièrement et beaucoup plus rapidement. L'autonomie de 40 minutes est largement suffisante. C'est vraiment très agréable.
Points négatifs : le suceur long était absent du carton, ce qui m’a obligé à faire une réclamation. Autre point décevant : le tube s’est rayé sans choc particulier, la peinture paraît fragile. Pour un produit de cette gamme au design travaillé, c’est dommage.
Bilan : très bon aspirateur à l’usage, efficace, léger, maniable et pratique au quotidien, mais finition fragile.

Q: I have used my Dyson twice and both times it shuts off after a few minutes and won't start again for hours later, do you know what the problem is, is it the battery or a defective vacumn?

A: Mine also failed prematurely and I'm thoroughly disappointed. Battery is bad already, but I tried under warranty to call Dyson and I never could get a human to sort it out, so I became so infuriated that I gave up. This it the new warranty technique. Went and bought a Shark plug-in, forget batteries.

Q: Great vacuum but after a few months, the battery won’t hold a charge for longer than a few minutes and it pulses. Any advice?

A: It appears there may be a blockage in vacuum. Try checking the the vacuum head(s) and the steel tube for trapped dirt. This can also be caused by a dirty filter(s), or if one of the motorized brushes is prevented from spinning. Google also has plenty of advice avail.

A: We have a large long haired dog and 3 cats. Does a great job and like the beater bar on the animal. Hair doesn’t wind up on beater bar. I dump the bag every time. We love ours.
