paint bad coverage

first can got great coverage several spot and larger panels 3-4 coats three square feet ?Then touched up a patio table edge and feet. Second can three spots plus 8"x30" no where near acheiving a gloss and it started splatter then ran out. Third can same peice after wet sand almost to a gloss then splatter and useless its black but not pretty for fun tried a complaint at front counter...oh thats a manufacture problem....,end of discussion. not impressed. Do I go back for a fourth can??No

The colour is matching and nice it sprays evenly not splatters .The very small white part of the nozzle can fall out it should be checked and pressed in .Keep some from spent cans is a good idea.
