First can worked fine, second can exploded...

As the title states... the first can worked fine, but as I went to open the second can and the top sprayer piece seems to have been faulty and paint exploded non-stop out of the top, the only saving grace I had was a garbage can nearby to dump it into to prevent any further collateral damage.

I would have given a zero but wouldn’t let . Absolute garbage just sprayed watery gobs, my fault for not checking it first. Had to clean it off what a mess. DO NOT BUY

Not a filler primer, barely a primer

NOT a filler primer. In fact, even if you follow the instructions exactly, you will notice it is mostly air in this can. It's an expensive can of pressurized air with just a tiny bit of grey products inside. Use rustoleum primers they are much better. Absolute crooks dupicolor, this is a horrible waste of money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Used to be great but not any more.

I swear the formula has changed in the last year or so. I had an older cans that would spray a light grey primer that would leave a very matte finish which could easily be sanded dry within 24 hours, but now with a new can I picked up recently it sprays a darker shade of grey that is now semi-gloss and it balls up and sticks to the sandpaper when attempting to sand even when giving it a few days to dry. Not impressed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can this primer be used on rusty steel wheel rims?

A: Clean the rust off as best you can. Put some rust inhibited on then use the primer. The surface must be very clean so that the primer will stick good. I use it on outboard motors and it works great for an undercoat
