Nous ne souhaitons absolument pas que nos clients vivent une telle expérience. Nos mijoteuses sont conçues pour durer et pour un usage quotidien, et une mijoteuse en grès fissurée peut être préoccupante.
Les fissures peuvent parfois survenir en raison de changements brusques de température (par exemple, en posant un récipient en grès chaud sur une surface froide ou en ajoutant des liquides très froids dans une mijoteuse chaude). Nous vous recommandons de toujours préchauffer progressivement et d'éviter les chocs thermiques afin de prévenir ce problème.
Même en utilisant votre mijoteuse avec soin, nous souhaitons que vous ayez pleinement confiance en votre Crock-Pot. When I bought this I thought I would get an exceptional product. I couldn't have been more wrong. On every single temperature setting it boils the contents. I would never be able to leave this - it requires very regular stirring and setting adjustments.

Not Good - Low Setting not Low

I've had several disappointing meals as a result of this product. I purchased from Costco and returned the first one thinking it was defective because the liquid was boiling so hot on the low setting that when I lifted the lid off, it was splashing out. Even on the "Keep Warm" setting, it was boiling as if it were on High. I've given the second one a try and experienced the same thing. I decided to try a variety of different meals (all with more than enough liquid) and several have actually burned. The crock itself is damaged because of "burned" food that I can't scrub off. I have owned another brand 5 quart slow cooker for 20 years and have never had this issue. Obviously if this many customer's are experiencing the same issue, then the product needs to be revised. I will be returning my second unit to Costco (thankfully they will allow the return) and will purchase a different brand.

Q: can you clean the food container in the dishwasher please. My old slow cooker has a black removable pot.

A: ALWAYS turn your slow cooker off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. • The lid can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. • For models with removable stoneware, you can remove the stoneware and wash in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove any residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. • As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware with cold water when it is hot. • The outside of the heating base may be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners. CAUTION: Never immerse the heating base in water or other liquid.
