I love these totes, they are Lego block compatible so my kids can use it as a table top as well as an easy storage option once they are all done playing.

Dandy little storage box to keep all your lego bits and pieces together in one spot. Capacity to hold all the lego you have so you don't step on a piece at 3 a.m., those hurt! Kids able to open/close without hesitation.

Q: 1. To what extent does this product become brittle in freezing temperatures? 2. How sturdy are the sides? I would be mostly filling these with sand and putting a little bit of other stuff in, so I need a strong container.

A: When the temperature reaches freezing temperature – all plastic material becomes brittle and risk of breakage. The container can holds up to 15lbs in order to easily carry it.
