Lamp socket .

Is this for real? It's just a lamp socket! I installed it, it works, the lamp turns on when l push the switch in one direction . And goes off when pushed in the opposite direction. It came without installation instructions, but I was able to pursivire and completed the job in less than 2.5 hours, so no overtime was required. If I ever need another lamp socket, I will definitely return to Canadian Tire. D. Wright

Did not work

I wanted to replace the old switch which produces a dim light. I spent about an hour trying to get it to work. I tested the circuit, replaced the light bulb, but nothing worked. I reinstalled the old switch which still worked. Very disappointed and surprised since a switch is such a simple device.
