    Product Details

The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady Tire ensures best all-weather traction and superior performance in even the harshest weather conditions.

    Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

    Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Super long life, MPG took a hit.

had two set of these tires, all in all, its not the best in grip, and it feel quite heavy. But the durable tread makes up for it. tho if you have a hybrid vehicle, i'd get Michelin over this due to MPG hit you are going to get. I got 15% worse on my rav4 with this tire on. I had two rav4 for test, one is 19in with crossclimate, and 17in with weatherready. you'd think the 19in vehicle did worse. 19in rav4 did 7.6L/100km 17in rav4 did 8.7L/100km, this with weatherready. all same routes. if MPG is not a big thing for you, this is a great choice.

    All Weather Protection

An unusual event caused an All Weather tire to deflate and a repair didn’t last. I was able to get a replacement at Canadian Tire under Goodyear’s protection plan. Fantastic tires, great service and brilliant policy by Goodyear.

    Excellent performance

I have been using my tires since Sep 2023 and under severe weather conditions (Heavy rain) while traveling and their performance have been great, especially during a heavy rain the handling was incredible.

I put about 20K miles/yr on my 2018 outback. I estimate that I currently have appx. 25K miles to date and the tread looks great. The tires have made the car ride smoother and I have experienced no issues in inclement weather (both snow and rain). I have no negative feedback on these tires - in fact, I have been so pleased with these tires, I replaced the tires on my wife's 2019 Forester with these.

Q: was wondering if this price includes the rims for these tires aswell?

    2 Answers
    • A: Canadian Tire will install your tires at no additional cost, but rims and balancing are always extra. The price of tires cannot include rims because the price of rims varies a lot, depending on whether they are basic steel rims of fancy mags.

Q: What ply are these tires. I your specs it shows that they are 2 ply? Also tread wear is shown as 60000 km but your ad shows a much higher number Can I return them if I don’t feel they are safe on ice?

    2 Answers
    • A: Can't clarify the technical questions. These are premium tires built by one of the best manufacturers. With two winters and 20 km on them, we feel quite safe with expected traction and control from a combination tire. Safety on ice is 90% driver experience and skill. Practice away from traffic to learn the limits of both tires and vehicle.

Q: IS THIS TIRE ON RIM?

    2 Answers
    • A: No. You buy the tires and have the shop put on your current rims, unless you want to buy new rims, but even then they would still be a separate purchase.

Q: 2015 Toyota camry. The tire above says 2 things about wear. Manufacturer says 95k wear rating and cdn tire says 60k mileage rating.what am i to believe??

    • A: Based upon specifications on this Site and others I checked (Fountain Tire, 1010 Tires) all give the tire a UTQG rating of 700/A/A which means it would be close to or better than 95K. I have owned three sets of these tires, going back to when they called them Goodyear Assurance Triple Treds and I can attest to 100 K or better on all sets bought. Hope this helps.

Q: Re: Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready All Weather Tire. One review here says it is "noisy". Is this normal for these new All Weather tires? Would the Michelin Cross Climate (an All Weather tire) also be noisy? Am purchasing for my Honda 2012 CRV SUV.

    • A: Of the tires I’ve purchased in the past, these fall in the middle for sound in my opinion. I don’t even notice the sound unless I’ve got the radio off.

Q: Is this tire 3 peak snowflake rated? This site has it as just M+S but the goodyear website says 3 peak snowflake. I've also seen it be called an all season and all weather? Confirmation of these details would be awesome.

    1 Answer
    • A: Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady is an all season Tire. Weather Reactive Technology combines evolving traction Grooves with Tredlock Technology, allowing the tread to lock together while cornering and open for more biting edges when you enhanced wet traction. The three-Peak Mountain Snowflake designation and specialized tread compounds help grip the road in wet, snow and ice.

Q: is this tire good for F150 2016?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hi, thank you for the question. Use the shop by vehicle function to see if this tire fits your truck. Ensure that load ratings meet your manufacturer specifications. Note, this tire is designed for passenger cars and CUVs not light duty pickups like the F-150.

Q: how many ply is this tire

    • A: Internal construction of the Assurance WeatherReady utilizes a single-ply polyester casing. Two wide, steel belts support the tread area, and a polyamide reinforcement aids handling response and high-speed capability.
