I had high hopes for this little gadget. But I was disappointed. It did not get as warm as I thought it would. If it is anything but upright it seems to quit giving warmth. So how is it supposed to work if you are outside in the cold doing chores and it's stuffed in one of your gloves or in your coat pocket? How are you supposed to keep it upright all the time if you are busy doing chores outside? Luckily it wasn't too expensive but I would not buy another one

Q: where can you buy the fuel?

A: My Zippo is one of the old ones made in Japan. It has the same dimensions as one made by Hakkin in Japan and the "burner" looks identical. Hakkin's site indicated that their warmers can use "white gas". That is camp stove fuel in plain language. Three years ago I started using the Coleman fuel that comes in the big can and it has been working fine. The smaller red plastic container of Coleman fuel has a red dye that will stain the warmer's packing material so I just use the type in the metal can which is still clear. Camp stove fuel works great in Zippo lighters too.

A: With the lid off the Hand Warmer, hold the base unit with one hand and apply flame to the catalytic burner unit for 15 to 30 seconds using the other hand. Flame can come from a Zippo lighter or other lighter. Keep hands and clothing away from any flame. After ignition has been confirmed, replace Hand Warmer lid, let the unit heat for 1- 2 minutes (NO LONGER!) then, taking care in handling the Hand Warmer, carefully place it into the provided bag. The Hand Warmer must always be placed in the provided bag to prevent over-heating. Your Zippo Hand Warmer will now provide comfortable warmth. After ignition, heat is provided by a catalytic process without flame. Once ignited there is no way to stop the heating action. If necessary, place the Hand Warmer in the bag and place on a fireproof surface until the fuel is exhausted and the Hand Warmer is cool to the touch.

Q: Could you mention in your description where in the store I can find this, or any other product? Your website is great and I use it often, but when I go into any of your stores I rarely know where to find the product I am looking for and it is exceedingly rare to find a store employee to assist in locating a specific product.
