Works fine for small to medium size fish. Used it in the ocean fishing and large lakes - so far so good. Got 10 whitefish average size 6-8 lb and salmon 8 lb...

Good for begineers

Uses the same reel mechanism as Zebco slingshot but is marketed as legacy at Canadian tire. Only difference is the slingshot rod is medium-light and this one is medium.

Q: What is the: Gear Ratio? Max Drag? Reel Size? # of bearings? the real name-or model number of this product thats recognized by Zebco? I even took the reel off the rod, and got the reels model # ( LGSP602M-GWC0) but i still can't find any info at all.

A: This reel has one ball bearing. Max drag is 10lb. The reel is a 20 size pre-spooled with 155 yds of 8lb. test line. The gear ratio is 5.3:1.
