Destructable - only lasted one month

Only lasted one month! The birds (mostly Chickadees, which are not particularly destructive) pecked at the plastic feeding stations until they broke and could no longer hold back the seed. Now the feeder is completely useless. Go for something more rugged with harder plastic and or metal feeding stations - it is a better investment in the long run.

Cheap Plastic

After one day the squirrels have wrecked this feeder. The feeding ports where the birds sit and eat are made of soft plastic. A clever squirrel got around all our anti squirrel devices and onto the feeder. It chewed through the soft plastic easily, spilling the seed onto the ground and rendering the feeder useless with a gaping hole in the octagon feed holder. Luckily we had an old cracked version of this that came with cast aluminum feeding ports. We replaced the cheap plastic ones with the long lasting old ones. I'm certain these ports will outlast the new plastic octagon like the last one did.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This feeder attracted many birds, but it got beat up pretty quickly. The plastic pieces around the feeding holes were popped out and the larger birds did a number on it. I think it lasted less than a month.

Poor Design - DON'T Buy

The handle is entirely inadequate to support the feeder when filled with seed. It will bend, pop out and drop the feeder. Mine dropped from about 8 feet and the plastic shattered. Gone within 30 minutes of purchase! What a waste of money
