    Yukon folding knives.

The blades come dull. The locks stick really bad. And the screws stick out, they're quite sharp.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    youkon folding knife set

As I lost my folding belt knife on the weekend while taking my grandsons fishing and was shopping for a replacement I found the Yukon set at CTC on sale for $9.99 while the regular price was $24.99 it seems like a fairly good quality knife. As I don't use a pocket clip I removed it and the knife fit in the pouch on my belt great. the smaller of the two will be useful when not carrying the larger one. both are made from very good materials and look like they will keep a good sharp edge. As I am a pocket knife collector I have very good knowledge of knives and the materials they are made of and the Yukons look to be a very well made knife and even at the regular price would be a very good buy.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: so does that mean i cant buy it

    • A: I doubt that you could purchase this knife personally if you are under the age that Canadian Tire requires for anyone wanting to purchase this item, as it is their policy and the stores must follow the companies rules. Not only does Canadian tire have this policy a lot of other retailers also do. As I stated earlier if you are responsible enough you could ask your parents or guardian to purchase one for you.

    • A: even though there is not an age limit legally the CTC can regulate whom they may sell certain items to but you could have a parent or guardian purchase it for you if they feel that you are responsible enough to possess one

Q: how long is each blade

    • A: The blade on the larger of the two is 3inches in length while the smaller knife blade is 2 inches. both these knives are of ideal length and weight and are easy to handle and use for most uses for a smaller knife. great for camping fishing and hiking as well as general use and as an extra when hunting but you would still need a good knife for dressing game as these are a little small for that purpose.
