Buy new hose end fittings!

The hose reel itself works well and is easy to put together. The leader hose that they supply is garbage! It leaked at both ends in the middle of the fitting. I cut of their ends and replace them with Gardena fittings. Doesn't leak now.

This has a very good structure to it but you need to assemble it yourself. Instructions are not too clear but sufficent to complete. Best to anchor to studs, if possible. Recommend using larger amchor screws & plugs if installing on drywall.

A: Morning. Yes, take it apart. Just unscrew the to covers that the hose is wrapped around, and push in the tabs that hold it together and check the washer. I expect the washer has torn inside the hub.

Q: What is the hole to hole width for mounting? How many inches between the 2 holes? Don't want to drill more holes in my siding so trying to replace with same size as my last

A: Please use an electric drill to drill four 1/4" diameter pilot holes at the marked position on the wall. If you want to insert the anchors into drywall or masonite, then please drill four 5/16 diameter holes.
