Oil Leaking

Bought this item and only used it a few times. Found oil all spilled out. Tried to refill with oil and it spilled out again. Read some reviews and seems this is a manufacturing defect. Now I'm stuck with a useless thing I can't use.

PIECE OF GARBAGE

Bought this unit and used it twice. All the oil leaked out and tried to refill only for it to leak all out again and again. Yardworks stop making garbage and review your quality department procedures.

Hydraulic Cylinder Leak

I bought this unit as it was a good price for a lift. Found out, like many others, that the hydraulic cylinder leaked. Fluid was coming out from the piston assembly. As this was not repairable, I returned the unit to Canadian Tire. Warranty company was of no help.

Works Very Well

I bought this on clearance a few days ago for a great price, so I forgave a couple of minor difficulties at the start. The oil had leaked out of the jack, more than likely due to laying on its side or even upside down in the warehouse. It was easy to top it up. The unit came missing a sleeve for one of the wheels, but I happened to have a piece of tubing that was just the right size, so I made a new one. I’m confident that I could have called the number listed in the instructions and they would have sent me a sleeve. The important thing is that the unit works very well and that it folds up and I can hang it on the wall when I’m not using it. I’ve had a crank style mower jack for several years but I started having trouble with it. Just when I gave up on the old one, I noticed this one was on clearance. I wouldn’t be afraid to buy another if I ever needed one, even if I had to pay full price.
