Wow, I am a believer in these lighter weight shovels with the ergonomic handles!
I came from using a dedicated 36” wide snow pusher for clearing the driveway in fewer passes, but on days where the snow was particularly wet and heavy this made using the wider shovel less than ideal to clear the snow.
That’s where this narrower shovel with the ergonomic shaft design and large D-shaped handle came to my rescue!
The lighter weight and relatively durable plastic material allowed me to scoop and push heavy wet snow with ease.
This allowed me to work with lighter weight loads of snow between 20-30lbs in the scoop instead trying to balance that on a super wide blade, the loads were centred and very manageable.
Now it’s not flawless, I was not able to scrape down to the pavement cleanly, nor break up compacted snow or ice.
That’s what a steel blade shovel or ice scraper is for.
The combination of tools and with a bit of effort and everyone can keep their sidewalks and driveways clean and safe for everyone.
Allowing me to work longer without needing to pause for a break and without getting tired as easily as my older shovel.

In the past, I used an Ergolite shovel and it is the only type of shovel that protects me from excess strain on my back, arms and legs.
