The Ergonomic grip for tightening onto the faucet is very good. But wow this is a STIFF hose that will smack you in the eye of you're not very careful trying to straighten it or re-roll it.

A: Try putting Plumbers Tape(White) on All your "Male" Water Connection i.e House & Hose Connection. as well as new washers. This should help with your water leaks.

A: It might be, but lead poisoning concerns aside; you're far more likely to be driven insane by the perpetual need to chase down kinks and straighten them out so you have decent water pressure. Do not buy this product. Kinks worse than any other hose I've used.

Q: Does this hose contain any hazardous materials? Does this hose contain any amount of cadmium, bromine (associated with brominated flame retardants); chlorine (indicating the presence of polyvinyl chloride, or PVC); phthalates or bisphenol A (BPA)?

A: The hose is made of PVC as is all hoses in the marketplace except 100% rubber hoses.
