Q: How much of a Cord does this rack hold?
11 years agoA: “Face cord” is a meaningless term intended to deceive people off when buying firewood. A cord is the equivalent of a 4’ x 4’ x 8’ stack of wood (4x4x8 = 128 cubic feet). Anyone selling you a “face cord” or “city cord” is ripping you off.

4 years agoA: At about 8 ft by 4 ft by 1 ft, it will hold about a quarter of a full cord (I stack it with 16" logs, so it is a little over a quarter of a full cord).

Q: I just purchased the yardworks 8 foot log stacker but it is bowed up in the middle and both sides are tilted away from center. I assembled it as instructed (spacers on the top of each join), but still very unsteady. Did I get a bad product?
4 years agoA: Happened to us too. We used gravel to even it out. Loaded the rack so much that the top cover wouldn’t fit as the rails spread out. I would advise to not load so much at one time. It holds a lot of wood. We r happy with it despite these minor problems.

Q: is there any way to attach wheels or casters to the bottom in order to make this unit more mobile? We store our wood a short distance from the house, then load up some racks on the deck for the winter months.
5 years agoA: 0603781, 8-ft Firewood Rack was not designed with wheels, and it is not be able to attach wheels on it Would suggest customer to buy a Yardworks Portable Firewood Caddy (sku# 060-3776) for firewood carrying and temporary storage
