READ BEFORE BUYING ~ Marketing practices are shameful;
Scoped this unit out ~ looks like a great deal- Had it in my hands to buy and noticed that the box says 'TOOL ONLY'-- OKAY, still interested--- buy a battery- Wow... $129.00. but still willing to reluctantly purchase. Got it home and opened the battery box-- NO CHARGER- they want almost another $100.00 bucks for some plastic and some standard wiring- bringing the total to the equivalent of a gas-powered blower.

Works great, lots of power and probably why it uses battery up quicker than weed trimmer. User is older female and find it a bit heavy and thankful for the included shoulder strap. Overall feel it is powerful and does job intended.

A: Hello Sean! Thank you for your question. The Yardworks 2.0AH battery will work on the tool however, it will not give you a proper run time. We recommend using at the Yardworks 48V 4Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (CT# 060-1988), Yardworks 48V 6Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (CT# 060-1989), or Yardworks 48V 7Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (CT# 060-1775).
