Very well designed mower. Easy assembly. Really neat features and heavy duty battery and charger. Mower can actually be stored in upright position to save space and make it easy to clean blade area.

Terrible quality of cut

This mower leaves a terrible quality of cut. It runs at half power until under heavy load. Therefore the blades are too slow and it only cuts half of what you go over. Going to replace with gas mower again.

This lawnmower is great! This is my first battery charged lawnmower and I would definitely buy another Yardworks lawnmower again. Lots of cutting power and the battery power lasts for quite a few lawn cuts.

Q: Is the blade included with this lawnmower good for mulching? Or do I have to buy a new/different blade?

A: No! The blade is very thin and weak and creates almost no suction. It says it's a mulching blade but it doesn't do the job.

Q: How come it doesn’t catch any grass with the bag on?? After I mowed everything, i went to open the bag to throw grass but it was empty! It was attached to the hook so I don’t know what’s wrong. So upset. I don’t feel like raking my entire lawn for this.

A: Arnold, please be aware of the mulch plug in your mower. When using the mulching plug, your new mower is designed to cut the grass clippings into small pieces and distribute them back into the lawn, using mulching fins located inside the mower deck. Under normal conditions, the mulched grass will biodegrade quickly to provide nutrients to the lawn. To have the grass clipping dispersed into the bag, remove the mulch plug. Q: The second time I charged the battery the light didn’t stop blinking, even after two hours charging. The battery shows it’s fully charged, but why does the indicator light not work?

A: Lithium batteries may show a full Charge but the charger will go into a cycle where it Optimizes the charge. Kind of a top off or a slow charge. Newer iPhones do this as well and the newer car battery chargers.
