Well designed and solid

We have had many cheaper 2-way shut-off valves that just didn't last. Some were also awkward to use. We thought this large valve might be too big but it's perfect: solid and easy to use. We haven't had it long enough to judge how well it will last but it's obviously better quality than our previous ones, so we're hopeful.

Using this as a diverter for our faucet on our shed. One to use is for that was to run a drinking water line to our RV. After about a day, we ran out of water. Turns out the outlet we used seized. After wracking my brain trying everything else it ticked me off that this new device malfunctioned

Q: Can you get replacement seats for the ball valves inside? Two of four have failed (dried out).

A: This is a question that Canadian Tire would have to answer. If they are unable to get the seat then you would have to contact the manufacturer by internet and get it from them.

Q: Purchased yardworks4 zinc shut off valve. Came with a metal accessory. What is the metal accessory for...??

A: The metal accessory piece attaches to the backside of the 4way on one end and to the wall below the tap on the other end. This is to stabilize the 4way when you are connecting or disconnecting the hoses so that you don't break the 4way casting.
