Built for everything from piles of snow to thinner layers of slush, the Yardworks 301cc 2-Stage Gas Snowblower packs power with excellent control to make clearing snow a breeze. This Yardworks Snowblower turns independently by automatically adjusting its power, and can shift snow from your pathway to wherever you want with flexible long-aiming capabilities. Featuring a 27" clearing width and a variety of easily adjustable forward and reverse speeds, this gas snowblower takes the work out of winter days to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Keeping in mind the working conditions of snowblowers, this Yardworks Gas Snowblower is built to last long and carries a 4-year limited warranty.

Great unit exept no chain addition option so far.

I have had this model for 2 years and it was present to replace my B & S, works great starts easily manually on first pull from cold.
Electric works well if i need to; wheels don't grab so well on incline especially with fluffy snow , i contacted the company about it and inquired about adding chains, they promptly sent me a new set of wheels, good to have spare but what i really would prefer is a set of chains or like accessory that fit the machine.
I am concerned that if i aquire some there may not be enough clearance between the inner weel part and the housing.

Very disappointed
a year ago
used 2 times in 23', went to start in 24', put all new gas. won't start. Engine seemed to struggle last year. I'm guessing it has engine problems. very disappointed with this machine with little use and problems already. Had a Craftsman snowblower previously and it ran for over 10 years with little maintenance.

Was there gasoline left sitting in the sitting in the engine or carburetor? Did you use stabilizer to ensure the fuel remained fresh? If gasoline is left untreated for an extended period of time, it will eventually go bad, causing a hard start on the engine.

Did not meet expectations

Engine is not very reliable even with proper maintenance and professional service , It was having issues even with moderate to light snow. It came to the point it was thrown to the dump we lost all our money on this machine.

We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. We are sorry to hear that the snowblower did not meet your expectations. If the engine had continuous problems, it may have been due to a spark plug issue like a weak spark, colored orange or yellow, or no spark at all. If no spark, then the ignition coil would have needed replacement. Another issue that could affect engine performance was the fuel cap ventilation being blocked. Clearing the ventilation or replacing the cap would have remedied this.

A: Generally speaking, it is two hand operated, but you can let go of the right hand auger "paddle" to operate the shoot and the auger will continue to do it's thing. To steer the snowblower, both hands should be ised

Q: Auger Belt Please help.. I’m desperately trying to find a replacement Auger Belt for this machine the gates number is 5LXA985E I went to my local Canadian tire and they were unable to help. Champion lists one but don’t deliver here.

A: Except for the handle, yes. You need to turn the handle around and use the bolts and knobs to put the handle in the right position.

Q: how does the smart steer option work? I find there is no type of "power steering". Seems to me the feature doesn't do anything?
