Maintenance and replacement parts

I bought this model of a year ago, any work pretty well. However, this year the deflector cable broke, and I found out that there is no replacement available at Canadian stores at all. And no one from Canadian tire stores personnel is able to help me finding this part. Overall, the product is good, but if there are no replacement parts for it, that’s a big problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The plastic from panels are broken

I just buy this yesterday and I’m not happy what I see the front plastic panel are all cracked or broken. I know it’s 4 years warranty but this machine is to heavy to bring it back so I just keep it for now I’m gonna used it then when the motor are not working properly the I have to return it and buy a different one…
No, I do not recommend this product.

Unhappy purchase

Unhappy with this purchase. We purchased 2 of these machines, one for ourselves and a 2nd for our daughter. My daughters unit cost 500.00 more than ours !!! It was purchased a few weeks later at CTC in a city closer to her. Many problems with her unit and it was replaced directly by the Manufacturer. The new unit is also difficult to work with. For example it doesn't easily start or stay running. Thank goodness snowfalls this winter were minimal.
Because of all the back and forth communications with Manufacturer the return time on the blower had passed and we could not return it to the store.
Our unit has worked properly but not the other.

Check to make sure that the unit is producing sufficient spark; a weak spark is typically yellow or orange. In this case, we advise replacing the spark plug. If there is no spark, the ignition coil would need to be replaced.

A: I've just purchased this blower and the only way I could figure to stop the engine was to remove the key. After the engine stops, re-insert it to keep it from getting mis-placed. It's a bit of inconvenience due to its location but effectively kills the engine.

It includes the necessary wrench for assembling parts such as the handle and chute. You can find the detailed assembly instructions on page 15, steps 1 through 5 of the manual. A: Spark plugs should be NGK BPR6ES or equivalent with a gap of 0.028 – 0.031" (0.7 – 0.8 mm). Thank you.

Q: Are there any issue starting in the cold? Can it be stored in a non-heated shed, which reaches temperatures as low as -30+, and start without any issues or does it need to be stored in a heated garage?

A: Freezing temperatures can be a major factor when starting the snow blower. If possible we recommend that the unit be stored in a warm environment (shed, garage, etc.). Thank you!
