    Tondeuse automotrice Yardworks

Brought it home, assembled it, found out no pull cord, Hubcaps fell off never to go back on again Handle no-start (squeeze ) interlock was not properly adjusted , mower would not start. After adjustment it worked Electrical gremlins every time I start it - connections to handle very poor, subject to corrosion., battery connections very por (have to constantly clean) Engine running very rich to the point of constant stalling. Investigation showed the sealed plastic float in the carb had fuel in it causing the needle to never engage the seat - would not stop fuel flow (VERY dangerous). Had to drill/drain/re-seal the float. I expect this form a 1965 Lawnboy, I don't expect it from a brand new mower. Side note- you'll need metric and SAE tools to work on this thing, it's a muddled mess of fasteners. Drive mechanism does not always disengage when you release the handle - it drags. Two or three repeated engagements typically frees it up Engine underpowered - stalls very fast in any grass longer than short, and then the electric starter does not have enough power to start it again. Dandelions take three passes and yep, the blade is sharp. Deck has no suction to lift them up and cut them. I could go on - you get the idea. Stay away from this one - I sincerely regret purchasing and it'll be the very last piece of Yardworks gear I ever spend money on.

    Self propelled is FAST!!

Bought about a month ago. The first thing I noticed was the handle was really tall and I haven’t found a way to shorten it… and I’m 5’10. The other thing I noticed was the self propelled function is sooo fast… can adjust the speed by how loose or tight you hold the bar to keep it at an even speed.

this mower worked find for the first three summers...then after the warranty was done I started having problems with the self propelled mechanism...the wheels turned when I lifted the mover but start to make a grinding sound when on the ground. Right from the start you had to run behind this mower to keep up with the self drive so it ended up being more of a push mower. I always washed the mower after every use and never had a problem starting...however the blade dulled very easily, which was annoying as may yard is not that big. Over all not a great purchase as my last mower lasted more the 20 years

No, I do not recommend this product.

    OK with bad self-propelled

I was left with no choice, since my earlier purchased Certified Lawnmower was not working, so I was ask to take this Greenworks in same price by Canadiantire Waterloo west and I am thankful to them. This mower is quiet powerful but look fragile and self-propelled is way to fast, you have to be very careful if you have knee problem. Onemore time, I was out of choice, so I must have to get something, since there is no return at Canadiantire if you have used product,no matter how bad they are.

No, I do not recommend this product.
