Works great

Bought second hand, started first pull! Tilled some food plots for deer hunting season no problem!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good tiller.

The unit starts first pull and runs great. It tills OK, but a heavier machine would do a better job. Great value for the price.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Garden Tiller

I like that it has forward and reverse. It really chews up the ground. I don’t like that if you grow your plants in hills, and I do, it struggles when going over an uneven hill of ground. One wheel goes up and the other does not so it wants to make you turn towards the lower ground so you have to fight to keep it going straight. I finally had to set the digging level to be very low, till my garden so that it was flat, then I tilled it deep. I gave it a low rating only because of this problem. Otherwise it works very well.

Questions

1 - 10 of 11 Questions

Q: I purchased this tiller last year and have replaced the tubes in the tires each time I used it. 3 sets of tubes so far. Is there a fix for this? Ripping valve stems off?

  • A: Increase air pressure or change to tubeless tires.

Q: Are the tines forward or reverse tilling?  Can you select which way the tines turn?  Can you select the wheel drive direction?

1 Answer
  • A: You can drive both forward and reverse. This is a counter rotation tiller. This means the tines and the wheels will always move the opposite direction to help dig into the earth. If both turned the same direction at the same time, it would simply drive the tiller across the surface instead of digging.

Q: Do the tines on this tiller go forward and backward

1 Answer
  • A: The reverse lever controls the reverse motion of the wheels and forward motion of the tines. If you depress and hold the lever against the handlebar, it will start the wheels in reverse and tines rotating in a forward direction.
