Carrying between two and five bicycles, the RidgeBack tilts away for easy trunk access even when loaded and neatly folds down when not in use. Its anti-sway cradle minimizes bike interference to protect your bikes from scratches. Simply secure bicycles using the no-hassle ZipStrips and hit the road! The RidgeBack is fully assembled and installs without tools - adding the TopTube adapter (sold seperately) allows carrying mountain and sloped top tube bikes. Weighing in at 15.9 kilograms, it measures 111 x 30 x 41 centimetres.

But we are a large family with 2 adults, 3 young adults, and 2 tiny tots - getting that many bicycles loaded up has always been a challenge until now. YAKIMA RIDGEBACK TILT-AWAY HITCH BIKE RACK HOLDS 5 BIKES FOR CARS, SUVS & TRUCKS saved us completely! This design is made to gracefully tilt out of the way when not in use ensuring you have access to your trunk space. Anti-sway cradles on board will help prevent the bikes that are mounted from clashing into one another. Simply attach to any 1.25 inch or 2 inch hitch receiver and enjoy the endless possibilities and adventures with your family and bicycles!

It’s been a bit too cold for bike riding so we haven’t gotten to install it yet but it appears to be large enough and of good quality. We also really love the locking feature that gives added security. Can’t wait to use it all summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This particular bike rack has a large capacity, it’s extremely easy to install as it already comes pre installed. It feels extremely durable and holds in the bikes very securely. I will be getting the rod that goes on my bike to sit straight on the rack instead of being slanted I wish it came with it instead. It has a belt that ties from the tire to the rod of the bike so the steering wheel doesn’t move while sitting on the car while driving. This particular rack o my fits big bikes and not small children bikes. Overall I’m extremely happy with this bike rack. Disclaimer: I got this bike rack to try out for myself and give out my honest opinion.
