Q: Is this kindling food safe? Can I cook over the flames?

Q: Loved the kindling last year however this year pieces are much larger to try to start fires with. Not what I’d call kindling. Why do pkgs vary so much?

A: To answer your question the wood used to make the kindling is recycled. So it can vary from lot to lot. One thing that the consumer could do, since the bag is clear, is to choose the bag with the diameter pieces of wood that meet their need.

Q: Since this is 100% recycled wood, would this be considered treated wood and safe to take camping keeping in mind the firewood transport ban?

A: Yes our kindling is kiln dried. Which guarantees No bugs, no molds, no mildew. With this process the wood is always dry and ready to use

A: This product contain 100% recycled raw material (A mix of Maple, Beech, Birch, cherrywood depends of the batch) But this product is kiln dried, so moisture level is controlled and guarantees no bugs, no molds, no mildew & no ash borer in the bag.

Q: What does recycled wood mean? Is it off-cuts or has this wood been used? Concerned about treatments and chemicals - as I want to use this wood for a cooking stove (pizza oven).
