Product Details

The Worx Landroid L is here to give larger lawn owners their weekends back. It comes with a robust 6.0Ah high-capacity Power Share battery and a wider 8-in. cutting width to mow up to a ½ acre. You’ll never have to cut your lawn again once you set up your Landroid. Just place the charging base, lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and secure it with pegs, and finish setup on the handy Landroid App. You can even control Landroid and schedule mowing times from the App, without ever getting off your couch. It’s packed with cutting-edge tech to ensure it does a good job and leaves you with a lawn you can be proud of. The patented AIA (Artificial Intelligence Algorithm) allows it to navigate narrow passages with ease (something other robotic mowers have trouble with). And its Floating Blade Disc automatically raises the blades when Landroid encounters uneven terrain, so it doesn’t get trapped or stuck. Plus, it’s powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors. The Landroid L is the next generation of robotic lawn mowers, with more performance and functionality to take on bigger yards.

  • Worx Large Robotic Mower is a fully automated robotic lawnmower designed for mid-sized lawns and can cut up to a 1/2 acre (21,780 sq ft)

  • 20V 6.0Ah Power Share battery is compatible with all Worx 20V, 40V, and 80V tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products

  • Runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and offers 10% longer life compared to mowers with brushed motors

Dennis the Menace

We started calling our Landroid “Dennis the Menace” because it’s always getting itself into trouble. One time we left an inflatable pool toy on the lawn and it was shredded to ribbons. Another time, Dennis knocked over a plastic chair and used it as a ramp to drive itself outside the perimeter! In auto mode, it mows the lawn every day, so you either need to keep everything off the lawn, or place the machine in “party mode”. The most concerning thing is the way it digs holes in the lawn and gets itself stuck. Especially when it drive’s into an inside corner, Dennis will aggressively try to back and turn its way out until it finally gets stuck and sends me an error message. (We have a flat lot with a fairly thick turf). As a result. I really don’t trust Dennis to run when I’m not home. Overall though, the Landroid is a timesaver. Once you finally get the wire set right, It quietly runs around the yard everyday keeping the lawn perfectly mowed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • Stuck again
  • Digs holes, especially on inside corners

This has been the most horrific experience.

First the company sends me a machine without proper firmware. This wasn’t an oversight, it was 4 firmware behind. My app wouldn’t connect to the device but I didn’t know it was the firmware. I spent countless hours troubleshooting and restting. I programmed zones of my 1/2 acre multiple times. My yard looked like someone was playing a joke on me. I called. They needed to email me the firmware and then I have to go buy a usb port to transfer it to. My computer doesn’t have a USB drive so I had to ask someone to do this for me. I asked the company to email it to me due to it being their own fault and they could not. Once the firmware was updated I redefined the zones and the robot still has yet to complete a full mow. This is so frustrating I’m returning it! I have invested over 40 hours into this between laying wire and burying it. I am disable hence the reason I need this and I can’t keep doing this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordering was awesome, but the product is not really great! The 1/2 acre land Droid was going crazy, with we had a GPS cell module that does boundaries, it's horrible trying to follow that wire . I have a Halo Collar that dies so much better than the wire . Might actually return this product ..

No, I do not recommend this product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Nothing but misery with this unit. I spend more time rescuing it from going outside boundaries than I would cutting my lawn once a week. It cannot handle the mildest of grades and cuts the grass far too short on level 6. It chews up the perimeter so badly that I have to adjust the boundary and reseed. Has it made my life easier? Just the opposite. Even adding the heavy duty wheels had no effect.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A Game-Changer for Lawn Care: My Robotic Mower Exp

When we moved into our new home in 2021, I made a bold decision: no more manual lawn mowing. Our previous yards were small, but this time, I took a chance and invested in a robotic lawnmower. After three full summer seasons and starting a new one, I can confidently say it was well worth the price. Pros: Effortless Maintenance: Say goodbye to pushing mowers. The robotic mower does the work for you. Quiet Operation: Powered by rechargeable batteries, it’s super quiet—no more disturbing the neighbors during early morning or late evening mows. Precision Cutting: The mower handles our lawn with ease, even around flower beds and trees. Time-Saver: I’ve reclaimed hours each week that used to be spent on manual mowing. Cons: Initial Cost: Robotic mowers aren’t cheap, but the long-term benefits outweigh the upfront investment. Advanced Features: Some models come with rain sensors, anti-theft features, and mobile apps, but these extras can increase the price. Overall, my robotic lawnmower has transformed lawn care into a hassle-free experience. If you’re tired of mowing, consider making the switch—you won’t regret it! 🌿🤖

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I purchased a new Worx wr155 mower last week. On a full charge, it only ran for 1 hour 15 min. I got a new battery and fully charged, it only ran for 1 hour and 38 minutes. How long should it run on a full charge? Is there a problem with my base station?

  • A: Run time on your mower is determined by a number of factors that use battery power. It depends on how many hills or slops there are in your yard, how fast your grass grows due to weather, watering and feeding, and how many obstacles there are in your yard. (More obstacles means more back ups and turns) for instance my WR155 runs about 2hrs before heading back to the charger. But on a rainy week when my grass has grown faster I get about 1hr 30min. So it does vary on conditions. Hope that helps.
