The Worx WG583.9 40V Power Share Cordless Blower/Vac/Mulcher has three times the functionality of your everyday leaf blower and twice the performance. This 3-in-1 leaf blower vacuum & mulcher uses two 20V batteries and a high-efficiency brushless motor to drive this enormously useful yard clearing system. Gone are the days of raking all the leaves in the yard into piles, then stuffing those piles into bags, then taking those bags to the curb or a disposal site. This leaf blower mulcher blows all the leaves into piles with much less work than using a rake. Then its one-touch tool-less change system turns this leaf blower into a leaf vacuum so you can suck them all up. Then the leaf mulcher functionality chops them down into 1/12th their original size, so instead of having 12 bags of yard debris, you only have one! It takes a chore that used to take all day and chops it down into a much quicker task. This leaf blower vacuum pumps out 350 CFM on high and 200 CFM on low, at 185 or 116 MPH for an impressive amount of air volume when in its leaf blower mode. It weighs only 8.4 lbs. (5.5 lbs. bare) in leaf blower mode, and just 11.5 lbs. (8.6 lbs. bare) in leaf vacuum mode. Plus, there’s no cord to trip over. Q: Add me to list of people that will buy this in a hearbeat when it becomes available as tool only. I already have a WA3875 dual charger and 1 4ah battery. Just need the tool and another 4ah battery and I'm good to go. Thanks in advance.

Q: Why are all of reviews from 2 years ago for this product. With these reviews I sure wouldn't purchase it. Have you made improvements since 2 years ago? Do you have new reviews?
a year agoA: I've had this product since it released and performance is great and it definitely works but the problem for many is the battery life because it comes with two 4ah batteries which is fine but if you have some serious yard work to do then this tool is almost useless unless you have the 8ah batteries which I have and worx didn't have at the time of release for this product. I think most complaints site wide any product will be battery life and that's because some product like blowers scooters, and lawn mowers obviously use more power than most tools and people have products from years ago because that's the benefit of the system of using the same batteries but that's also the problem because some will try to use 2ah or 4ah batteries and be disappointed with certain products as well as not realizing these are essentially the same batteries you would use for a drill and adapting them to work across all different tools mean some products will have higher consumption than others and you will need more batteries because these are technically only 18v with small ah which makes up the total energy their able to store so unless worx moves to a higher voltage like 60v which they tried to do in the pass by offering 56v tools (I dont think the market was ready as it didnt sell well) but only offering 2.5ah and never expanded the platform but instead doubling down on the 20v platform (which was smart at the time)

Q: Is the impeller metal
3 years agoA: Miy WG583.9 is not all plastic - it has a metal center that looks somewhat like a blender or ice crusher blade. This pretty much shreds anything that can be mulched so I have not had many blockages! Only thing that plugs it up are large matted clumps of wet leaves that pack in the tube.

Q: After full charging my two 20v batteries, my new Blower/Vac/Mulcher lasted only 10-12 minutes. Am I doing something wrong, or is that the expected length of use per charge? Love the unit, but if that's as long as it lasts I will return it. Please advise

Q: Why does the corded version (which I use) have a metal impellor but the corded does not? I have a lot of seed pods that the corded version mulches fine.
